Makeover Can Change Your Life!
People judge us by our smiles. More than our clothing or anything else about us, the condition of our teeth speaks volumes.
A strong, bright, well-aligned set of teeth tells the world we’re healthy, confident and friendly. When we feel confident about the condition of our teeth we smile more. We’re friendlier, more secure. And other people sense that, trust us and want to be around us more.
It’s not vain to want a good smile. A healthy smile not only makes us more attractive and approachable, a healthy mouth and smile makes us physically healthier. Bad teeth can cause all kinds of health problems, including contributing to heart disease.
Such a small thing can make such a big difference in your life in many ways. We can help by giving your mouth a “smile makeover.” A smile makeover is the process of creating a better, brighter healthier smile by using one or more dental processes or procedures. Those procedures can include brightening, braces, tooth implants, and repairing chips and cracks or installing tooth veneers. What procedure is necessary depends on your individual needs.
We begin by assessing your current smile, take you through a “test drive” if required and then finding out what you’d like your smile to be like when we’re finished.
We’ll work with you to create a plan to give you the smile you want at a price you can afford. Some of the processes we use are:
Braces: You don’t have to walk around for months with metal braces anymore. We now have a nearly invisible brace called Invisalign®. It’s an appliance you wear and remove. It’s custom made for your mouth, is comfortable and eliminates the common problem of metal allergies so many people have.
Bridges, Crowns and Implants: Missing teeth ruin many smiles. Part of a smile makeover may include giving you back that tooth or teeth through implants, bridges or crowns.
Tooth Veneers: Once you lose that bright white surface of the tooth it’s often impossible to restore, unless you have tooth veneers installed. Tooth or dental veneers are wafer-thin, custom-made shells of tooth-colored resin or porcelain.
Veneers are designed to cover the front surface of your teeth to improve your appearance. The veneers are permanently bonded to the front of your teeth. Veneers change the color, shape and even the size or length of your teeth, giving you a younger, fresher, better-looking smile.
Gum Contouring: For many reasons some people have gums that ride too low, or too high on their teeth. This can make the teeth look too small, or too large. Gum contouring can shape the gum line, improving the appearance of your smile. Gums may recede because of disease, genetics or even medication you may be taking. Gum contouring helps cover the teeth in a way that enhances your smile and keeps your teeth healthy.
You probably won’t need all of these procedures, few people do. But one or more of them can change your mouth and your life for the better.
