You have been referred to us as we are a Specialist Oral Surgery practice with an NHS contract to provide Oral Surgery treatments in the same way as a hospital, but in a practice environment.

There are a limited number of Specialist Oral Surgery Centers throughout Hampshire. You have been referred to your nearest one according to your postcode.

Conscious sedation is an option for some patients needing certain procedures. If you would like your treatment under sedation, you will need a short medical assessment visit initially. Please contact the practice by phone to arrange this. Sedation cannot be provided on the day without this assessment.

We do not provide any treatment under general anesthetic.

Yes – please contact us by phone and we will put you on a priority waiting list.

We offer conscious sedation using intravenous midazolam. This will make you sleepy but does not put you to sleep in the same way as a general anesthetic. Midazolam has amnesic properties so many people cannot remember much about the procedure afterward.
